Cherokee Boulevard All-Comers Meet

Schedule:

7:15 AM Bus leaves from ORHS track area

9:00 AM Girls’ Race

9:30 AM Boys Race

10:30 AM Awards

11:30 AM Return to ORHS track area

You will not need to bring a lunch, as we will return to ORHS at around lunchtime. You should get up early enough to eat breakfast, however. All girls will run in the girls race, all boys in the boys race. (No division of varsity and JV)

Wear uniforms. For this meet, you do not need to wear your black nylon pants. Please DO NOT wear your team shirts for this meet.

Driving directions:

1. Leave Oak Ridge via Pellissippi Parkway

2. Merge onto I-40 East and travel to the Papermill Dr. Exit

3. Take the Papermill exit and cross Papermill onto Northshore Dr.

4. At the Kingston Pike intersection, turn left onto Kingston Pike.

5. Take Kingston Pike to Scenic Drive and turn right. (You will have passed Western Plaza and will be at a stoplight.)

6. When Scenic splits, bear right.

7. At the bottom of the hill, turn left onto Cherokee Boulevard.

8. After 100m you will meet a very pleasant police officer who will politely direct you where to park. (That may be all he says; or, he may say more. You can never tell.)
